This text cleaner removes the invisible mess that pasting brings, double spaces, blank lines, tabs and trailing whitespace. It is designed for cleaning Word and PDF pastes before publishing, tidying scraped lists, and preparing text for word counts. Tick the options you need, press Clean, and copy the result. How it works
Each option applies one plain-text transform in order: tabs become spaces, repeated spaces collapse, line ends are trimmed, blank lines are dropped, and optionally all lines join with single spaces. Counts before and after are compared so you can see exactly what changed.

What does the text cleaner remove?
Extra spaces, blank lines, tabs, trailing whitespace and optionally line breaks, you tick exactly what to clean.
Will it delete my paragraph breaks?
Only if you tick Join lines. By default paragraph breaks are preserved; only duplicate blank lines are collapsed.
Is pasted Word or PDF formatting removed?
Whitespace mess from pasting is normalised to clean plain text. Fonts and colours are not carried in plain text.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Cleaning happens locally in your browser.
Can I compare before and after?
Yes. A live counter shows characters and lines removed with each clean.
